High Performance Liquid Cooling
The Mikros Ascutney Series is our base-level liquid cooling option with exceptional thermal performance. Utilizing our MikroMatrix™ cooling technology, this cold plate employs 160-micron microchannels to cool most processors and thermally active surfaces up to 300 W/cm2 with less than a 20°C rise over coolant inlet temperature. These cold plates are available for integration into an existing system or evaluation for a custom Mikros cooling solution.

The Mikros AX-10 is an advanced 10x10 mm microchannel cold plate with lower core thermal resistance and smaller active area than our AX-25. It can be used effectively to cool high heat flux components including LEDs, Lasers, and other critical components.
The Mikros AX-25 cold plate is a microchannel cold plate optimized for high heat flux semiconductors. With high cooling capacity and low pressure drop, it can improve performance on existing systems or evaluate Mikros’ cooling technology for custom development.
The Mikros AX-50 is a high performance cold plate in Mikros’ first-level Ascutney series. The AX-50 combines high cooling capacity and low pressure drop for efficient thermal management of high heat flux applications or to evaluate Mikros’ cooling technology for custom development.
Levels of Thermal Performance
The Mikros Peaks series is divided into three levels of cooling performance, based on more efficient levels of our proprietary MikroMatrix cooling technology. Named for beloved New England mountains, the base-level “Ascutney” series provides high performance cooling sufficient for most semiconductors up to 1kW and above. The Monadnock series employs finer microchannels for higher performance cooling with tighter thermal budgets, cooling most processors from 1kW-2kW. Our Katahdin series utilizes our most complex designs for the highest cooling power for small areas dissipating over 1kW.
